I don't have any idea what is going on so I would like help. When I get killed I spawn and about 2 seconds afterwards I start lagging and sometimes get to 0 fps. When I finally get through the normal portal the lag stops but it leaves me thinking.
FPS is client sided, it's how well your computer can update the frames. We can't do much if it's just FPS issues, besides telling you to turn down your graphics a bit. As well as any PING issues, that's client sided too. To check ping, hover over the bars at the multiplayer menu over the server you are attempting to connect to.
Actually, FPS can be the problem of the server, if there are a lot of entities in 1 area it will lower FPS for the players, which is not the player's problem but the servers. I do recommend lowering your graphics options or getting a better graphics card.
I have the best graphics card I can see and like I said I get down to 0 fps and 0 chunck updates. It seems that all the other servers are fine but its just kit-pvp. And another thing to note is that the auidio is going at the right speed but the image is struggling to keep up.
Foxry that means your IP banned. Also this doesn't belong here... Diamond_Cr33per it's not the server's problem. I don't think anyone has the same problem as you. You can try to allocate more RAM to Minecraft. Go to the Minecraft Launcher and press "Edit Profile" Find the bottom most option and tick the box if it isn't ticked yet. Change the 1G to 2G or 3G depending on how much RAM your computer has, press save, and open up MC again.
I will actually take Diamonds side on this one. The spawn is really laggy for me as well, and like PvPKillz said, this CAN be because of the server. EDIT: But then on the other side, my CPU is crap. but it does run well in the arenas.
Okay, well my RAM is actually maxed right now at 1G but I think it might for some reason have to do with all of the spawn changes
Open up Task Manager and see what's taking up all your Memory. You should be able to have atleast 2GB RAM allocated to MC.
Whats taking up my memory right now is the internet but I have spent the time to locate the spots where I am free to move without lag and get up to 56 fps. Those spots are around to higher platform that is above the portals but I cant get near them or it lags again and I cant get near the center where people spawn. When I get through the portal there is no people spawn lag. :/
Yeah, KitPvP spawn has been lagging for quiet awhile. I've gotten many reports about this, and I also lag a ton myself. I have no idea how to fix this, or why this is happening.
I am also having the same problem as Dimomd_Cr33p3r. I have tried all the above suggestions and it's still not working! Any ideas?
@aCookieGod it all started the day u made that drop party thing, I get the lagg at spawn 2, no joke it litterally takes me 16 min(i timed it) to get from spawn to portal so until this is fixed I'm done pvp for now Please fix
Fox fill out a ban appeal, then if they say u arn't ban come to me again I l can fix it if it's an ip ban but it had to be ok with staff
