Often times I don't say things like this, and that's likely due to my amiable disposition, but I feel like I need to say it here. A couple of the staff here (Godoy, Meg, Rinne etc.) may have heard me going on and on about "Why haven't the top voters been posted?" "Why this?" and "Why that?" To be honest this is due to my feeling towards the integrity of this place. I'm not going on this little 'diatribe' as a way of saying "Screw you" to the owners here, I would never do that. (And if I were to feel that way, I wouldn't even be on.) However I often here about a lot just, well, not getting done. The OP Prison server was supposed to come out a while ago (or so I hear) and (as I've mentioned many times, this being the last, as I don't want to beat a dead horse) the top voters being delayed. I understand entirely that the owners are busy (hell, they're both college students; I'm nothing but a petty Junior in high-school) but I can't help but feel that I've been lied to in a way. I really love this place, but I don't love all these negative feeling the events here are causing; the front page has even been dead for almost a month. And perhaps one of my concern is whether this place is dying or not. Again, nothing against Alex or Ethan, you guys rock, and so does this server. But I needed to get this off of my chest. Thank you to all staff who put up with my incessant asking about this, you won't hear about it again.
We missed getting the numbers on the Top Voters this month. We apologize for that. As for the OPPrison server, it's a bit of a pain to get devs and a build team going, we had some issues with a bit of them, not all of them, so it's been a bit of drama w/ that server and getting it going.
Hi Franco, Well, we've actually gotten a lot done. However, i haven't been able to get as much done as i wish, if you're willing to help out with the staff team or build team, feel free to apply. I work for a living doing saltwater fishing charters, twice a day where i live, usually working 10-12 hours a day. I'm also going to college full time (4 classes a week), though this isn't an excuse, rather the reasons why things have slowed down compared to how fast we used to push new game servers and fixes out. We've been working on hiring new developers, as of now we've hired 2 new developers that are working with us. Work on the prison server will resume as soon as possible. I apologize for this @Franco any help you're willing to provide and feedback is appreciated. Again, i apologize for our slow output of things lately. We also had a few builders for AEM Network that left a few months ago, and down to only 1 builder. Thank you for giving me something forward to looking to getting things done. We're in the process currently of updating everything to 1.8 in preparation for the UUID changes (where players can change names), our next thing to get done will be OPPrison. I've had some things created for it overtime and have been /slowly/ working on it, though it's a very complex setup and is going to take a while to get done. Again as i said, i apologize, this place isn't dead and isn't going to die. Thanks, AlexM850.
I would like to be able to develop plugins ( if that is what developers do) can anyone lead me to a place I can learn? Plus it would be awesome to develop for AEM
I agree, OPprison was supposed to come out augest 1 and the UHC took like 2 hours to set up. I also feel lied; to me it just seems that everything does not come out when you say it will even though you said it will come out.
Um you are lying... It was NOT suppose to come out on August 1st.. Don't tell stuff that is obviously not true. They said there is NO time known yet as of when prisons will come out.
sorry, but one day in july i was playing and the server MOTD said "prison coming out augest 1!!!!" or something like that
Jawa, as of right now, we are EXTREMELY busy with the servers. We have OPPrison being worked on, the CONSTANT complaints of a factions reset and other minor and some major issues. We already have enough people complaining about things and we just need you to know, we are doing our best. Please be patient.
In my opinion I would rather to wait and have a better server functionality, than have it hastily finished and there would be a lot of bugs and problems in it.
