    Slimes only spawn in certain chunks (about every 1/10) throughout the overworld below the Y level 40, besides in a swamp biome. The ones they can spawn in are called Slime chunks.

    I'm pretty sure they're random throughout the world just like dungeons. They spawn everywhere except mushroom biomes.

    You just venture around looking for slimes outside of a swamp biome or you can find a mod that will show you where they are.
