respawn nether death

    i love searching the nether for fortresses to raid and every time i get really far then fall into a lava pit and die or fall from a high place on top of netherrack. then at spawn i do /is then /back to get to my nether death point. then comes the rage.... i keep dying as soon as i do /back. it takes me to the nether but i die. i really want this fixed do to all my lost items/exp.

    Are you dying in lava or just dying no matter where you spawn from using /back?
