When all the plugins are updated and everything is tested then Alex will reset the world until then it's business as usually... Something's are out of Alex's control...
will only the world be reset or enderchests and inventories as well ? also why does it have to be reset ? we just started skygrid like a week ago since towny survival is buggy and skyblock got boring, so with skygrid being reset at some point in the future its kinda pointless to play at all for the next couple months... *edit* and since the reset is supposed to be "official", can someone direct me to the official announcement ?
Go look on Alex's page he responded to edgedevil, and that response show's that is is basically official. Note: I cannot link a screenshot here on this computer, sorry I may later when I get home. I am sorry that you started a little while ago and it might happen soon, everything will be reset EVERYTHING, only thing that stays is your donor ranks. I hope you stay with us
Isn't there a plugin that can let us keep our money? If so, that would be awesome. If not, that's alright too.
There is but what's the point of that? New comer's may never be able to catch up to people, like scott he is inactive he doesn't get much money anymore, but he got so advanced so fast we are still struggling to catch up, I am 1 million AWAY from him.. few people have even catches 1 million. No money will make everyone start off equally.
well thats bad then and i just lost interest in playing skygrid til the reset at all since its kind pointless now ... the point of ppl having a lot of money is kinda moot theres rich ppl on survival and skyblock or ppl with huge islands and high island levels on skyblock and theres no talks of any kind of resets...
Skygrid has never been reset before and being we had an sponge issue and inactive players we have a lot of unprotected lands and damaged areas... Reset means u only keep your ranks that's it I personally can't wait for a reset its long overdue Yes for people who just started is kinda sad but for the people who have been on here for months it's kinda needed I love the fun of starting over more things to do and just think if we reset in a few the next reset won't be for a very long time...
That's exactly it. With all the new perks of 1.8 it will be awesome. A reset will be needed eventually, might as well be soon. PS I'm in math class right now XD
We cannot just implant 1.8 items to the grid, it will have to be reset or parts of it, but from the plans of it we are reseting all of it.
Think of it like this... everything will be wiped... everything... a blank world no blocks... then they put up the grid of different blocks with some chests randomly with items in them... then we will put up spawns in all 3 world.. then we will make sure everything is good... then we put it up for players to come play... your homes will be reset bc there is no builds where they are at.. you will be completely new... the ONLY thing that will stay is ranks..... you will have no money at the start... no placed sponges... nothing...
We (Skygrid staff) haven't gotten any information on new features at all so we do not know, that if for the owner's to decide/plan.
