    Who are you reporting?: ningastar66
    What server was this on?: Survival/Factions
    How long ago was this?: 5-15 minutes ago
    What did he/she do?: So first I want to point out the rule in my first screenshot saying : No scamming of any kind. They asked me if I was good with spawners and lured me onto factions in order to kill me. Now , whilst I do admit this was of my own accord I feel this is still classed as cross server scamming as I have been messaged on SURVIVAL, where scamming is not allowed, but I have been scammed on FACTIONS where scamming is allowed. And even if this player is not punished or warned, I feel the rules on scamming need to be stricter, as it is just frustrating that a player on factions has the nerve to come on to another server , just to get people to join factions and kill them. Maybe no luring players from one server to another?
    Ill give a metaphorical example of this being on the other end ; I lure a player from factions into survival. I tp them into my town where pvp is enabled and kill them. Well , surely ill be banned as this is scamming? But why should someone get away with doing this on another server even if scamming is allowed there? They can scam me all day but ill be banned if I try and scam them back?

    [edit] Sorry if this came off as rantish , it's just I would appreciate if we could have more clarification on what the cross server rules are in order to help the community further it's understanding on what we can and can't do. And I do acknowledge that this player did technically scam me on factions , meaning they are safe , it's just that they started said scam on survival.

    Thats Terrible, Scamming players from Survival to Factions and then killing them is just brutal.
    However since the rules of Scamming/PVP is exempt from the Factions server i think this will be a hard one to clarify.
    Ningastar66 Obviously did the wrong thing by luring you to join Factions for another reason,
    but he didnt break any rules in the Factions server therefore In my opinion he should receive a warning for breaking a rule on the survival server.

    Yeah thats the problem. I know he will most likely not be banned (as it is legal on factions) , but the purpose of my forum is to get the rules updated/clarified on what is classed as cross-server scamming. As like you said , luring players from one server to another is just brutal.

    Ningaster66 asked me about 5 minutes ago to check his iron golem spawners on factions cause they didn't die how they were supposed to.
    When I came on factions, somehow the problem was already fixed. I tried to get staff on factions within that time but sadly no one replied.

    I don't know if he had intentions to kill me since he last minute didn't want me to tp anymore. However I find it a bit strange that he asked a player who doesn't play factions to check his spawners.

    Well I just asked a member of staff and this is apparently allowed due to them doing nothing wrong on the server you have been baited off of. However I still feel we need an update in the rules with examples such as this instance.

    The fun part is that SkellyBirb saw that conversation. When I came back to factions (I went to skyblock after the conversation which is shown above) SkellyBirb was telling me that he/she went to Ningaster66 and that everything was cool.
    For me that's kinda weird timing but I am not the one who has to decide about that.

    That's messed up in my opinion. How easy can it be to "scam" players of different servers. Most of them are being kind to help you out if something doesn't work. Most of the time they don't even know the rules on factions let alone how factions works.
    If that rule is being kept, scamming will happen more than ever before.

    Its a shame that nothing can be done, Players like this will continue to be scammed because what they are doing is "allowed" and they are "doing nothing wrong". It would have been great to see a new rule so that Users from different servers wouldn't scam other servers.

    Definitely. I normally feel pretty confident whenever I go on different servers to do things such as vote key trading, but after this experience I have lost some faith in trusting people. A rule where we cannot exploit the fact the network has different servers in order to benefit on another due to a difference in rules would be nice.

    So let me get my points right before handling this, so this guy went to survival to ask a guy to go factions to help him with a spawner, and when he went there and tped to him, he killed him instead?

    To make things clear, technically this is a cross server scam therefor is against the rules. Player has been banned from the network for 24 hours as a first time offender. We will update rules to clarify if needed, but this is kind of common sense smh.

    After discussing this issue with Sway, Scar and Soomer we have come to a conclusion that this considering as Cross-Server scamming and you will be temp banned for a day if caught, in conclusion ningastar66 has been banned for 1 day
