island platform size

    i want to make my island the shape of sqaures but i dont want it too big i want it to always be loaded when im in the middle so can somone tell me what size should i make my platform?

    well if you have 16 chunks and ech chunk is 20x20 u can make a decent amount

    A lot of people built a 99x99 platform, just like the old skyblock. Since they were used to that size and if you sat on your bedrock, your whole island would be loaded.
    It also depends on how powerful your computer is, that I dont know. Build a platform according to your render distance.

    so u say i preety much decide the chunk load distance?? with render distance, cause i have a good pc

    Pretty much. See how far it can load without lag and build on that.

    I would build a 99x99 island but on the outside of the island have farms? Like villy farms or iron farms
