Headphone Troubleshooting

    So I recently obtained a new pair of turtle beach x12s... I would like the freedom to use them w/o the USB but when I do it goes really quiet because it "uses the USB for power".

    Is there a way I can amp up the sound in any way or pre charge it? I often do YouTube on my iPad and would like the freedom of not having to be by a USB port constantly in order to get decent audio.
