So I came across a ghast spawner (near 733 37 3275) evening of 4/28 (EST) and claimed it. A couple players gave me suggestions on how to set it up. Shortly afterwards, someone with fly placed lava above me. I did manage to port out but wasn't able to get a screen shot or figure out who did it. This morning I cleaned up the lava but find that someone changed the spawner to blaze. Would love if you could figure out who did it, take whatever action you deem appropriate and if possible return the spawner to its original type.

got it. was avoiding streams of lava so forgot to get a screenshot. better protections should be explored. not great that higher level donors can change your spawners without consequences unless you happen to see them do it.
Been thinking about this a bit and while I do understand the importance of proof, a strong stance against griefing is also important. I understand you can't go back and see who changed my spawner (or poured lava on me for that matter) but at the very least, an effort should be made to undo any changes. Given the time it took to find an interesting spawner, it is very frustrating to be told sorry, there is nothing we can do. Food for thought.
For what it's worth, it was Phreshkill. Lots of good people on this server. Hopefully you can weed out the ones that are not and keep griefing to a minimum.
