I think that it would be so much easier if there was an app so that I could check the forums on the go @Sway
I think this was mentioned before the reason why it was "denied" is because the amount of work behind making a app. Sway would have to fix bugs on AEM and on the app then.
I agree. Making an app takes a lot of work , not to mention that the server would most likely have to hire a developer to do this due to the amount of training app development takes, which would be very pricey. If you have an iPhone you can set a bookmark onto the forums that appears like an app on your main screen. Not sure if there is a feature to do this with Android though...
If you are using android like me, you could leave a tab open on chrome or "Add to home screen" like I do with the recent activities. Bookmark is also an option on Android.
You would still need to have internet connection on the app? Making a forums app wouldn't really change anything when you're out and about.
