As I have been playing on AEM for over two years I have noticed many things which upset me and is causing this server to go backwards from where it was two years ago.... At first I played as a member like all but I had decided I liked what you got from the donations so I decided, "why not?" When I heard that the server was going to reset I, like all the others was excited to see how it turned out.. I had thought it would just be a server and NOT a kit change. I know AlexM850 will disagree with me but HE HAS gotten greedy. As time went on the kits got worst and the price for the kits went up.. Now AEM is DYING! and its not our fault it is AlexM850 who changed the way this server used to be. Now I know that a lot of you think that some things were OP back on the oldest server but it was actually FUN.
    I'm out.
    Good Luck Alex

It's like you live under a rock.. Of course servers reset, we get to many player files after a year or so that it causes lag and eventually everyone wants resets to happen.

Kits are here not because Alex is greedy, (which he's not if you've spoken with him) they're here because it costs money to run and maintain a server.

I remember when AEM was a good server now it only has like 50-200 players on at a time. I remember when it had about 100-400 players. I really miss that old AEM but we are stuck with this. And wonder why people are leaving there are fricking resets and maintenances every month and it gets annoying. AEM staff members or owners needs to make one final move to make AEM better or worse.

Changes are needed, for good or for worse, at least we're progressing somewhere and not in a sand still.
To make AEM a success, we may face some failures, disagreement, discouragements and other down falls, however, we are still trying to get somewhere. One day we'll look back and this would all just be a memory. Sure we had more players back then, we're satisfied as long as majority of our players are happy, we're working through pushing our own limits and seeing if we can break through. A steppingstone you may call it.
AEM is not dead nor dying. It's progressing whether you like it or not.
If you don't, then okay fine, we'll work through it somehow, why don't you stick with us til the end and see where AEM ends up in.

You can't just want something and expect it to happen right away, we're not magicians.

You also have to realize that Alex had a lot more time to work on things back then and his life situation was VERY different back then. He's not a teenager anymore. Alex has a life outside this game and it's not easy. He's a young adult starting out his life, and has a job, a girlfriend, and personal issues going on in his life. If you guys wanna complain or say it's "not what it used to be", fine. But Alex loves AEM and it is his passion as he's told us. He's actually sad he can't work on it as much as he used to, but he doesn't always have time, or access to internet. Some things are just out of his control. No amount of complaining is going to make things better. You're only making it worse by making people think it's "dying" when in reality, things get done as much as possible. It may take a few months for certain things, but that's just how it is. AEM is progressing, just maybe not as fast as you'd like. Resets bring in more players and fix lots of corrupted files and cleans things up so they run smoother. So if you've never owned and managed a successful network, maybe you shouldn't run your mouth until you know how hard and stressful it is. Especially when people talk trash like this and discourage people. It makes players leave, decreases donations, and therefore, potential progress. You may think you're "pushing" us to get things done, but in reality, you're doing the opposite. Just let us take care of the network, as best as we can, and things can get better. Things just take time, money, and patience.

It's dying and things are not getting fixed or addressed....where's the items from our ranks after reset...I paid for items but never got them when I spawned after this last reset...and yes I've told admins but to no avail. Shop prices are horrible. Not getting the kits from previous rank ups is wrong...we bought each one of those....the list goes on and on...and to say it's not dying is like pissing on my leg and telling me it's raining. No one is ever on anymore....

Well you know how the kitpvp discussion said that it would be up in 2-3 hours its almost been 48 hours which is insane. It really doesn't take that long for kits, reset, and other things. When ever im on a server I never ever see any staff members on and if you say they are vanished who cares! They need to help other players and the server so they can have fun meanwhile, while we are stuck in a hole and have nothing to do we will start to get mad overtime. Staff really needs to help the server and players out.

People have nothing better to do than complain. Just because we don't have staff on 24/7 doesn't mean we don't help players. This thread is not helping anything and is only full of negativity from a few. We get commended all the time while we're helping people, you need to realize we are people and have lives. We also don't want to promote players to staff who aren't mature enough to handle the job. No amount of complaints is gonig to fix anything. With each of your negative posts, the more you are trying to kill people's desire to play.

I'll open up on this quote that aptly sums up my view. (and likely the view of the staff/admin team, though I won't put words in their mouths)

If you aren't part of the solution, then you're part of the problem.

@Eurybates and @dillbill91- Your extremely negative and highly opinioned views on the state of affairs of AEM disgust me. There is a division between giving constructive criticism and blatant whining, tantrum throwing to get your way, and a healthy amount of disregard for others' hard work and dedication. Like @Jerekul said above, people do have lives outside of the game and the server, and everyone is doing their best to balance all of the problems that life throws at them with their love of the server, of the game, and of the people who select AEM from the multitudes of servers available out there. I dare the two of you to take on a similar position sometime soon; I can almost guarantee that you will fail in a short time.

Eurybates- I'm not sure if you've learned this yet, but everything in the world has a cost attached. That cost might be money, or it might be hard work or time invested. To my knowledge, nothing in this world is free, which includes this network. I'll speculate a little bit here and say that you are pretty young, under the age of 16. Let me give a piece of advice to you: Don't run your mouth unless you can back it up. Your OP gave me an impression of no fiscal responsibility and a high degree of irresponsibility. I'm sure that staff appreciates that you spend your leisure time playing on AEM's servers, but don't presume that your opinions are worth more than someone else's when it comes to how this server is run. Again, try running your own server. I can guarantee that you will become exponentially more responsible or you will utterly fail miserably. Again, fine line between constructive criticism and blatant disregard for others. Be sure you are on the right side of that line lest you find yourself on an isolated island with no friends or followers.

dillbill- Same goes for you mate. Learn a healthy amount of respect for others with more responsibilities than you. Don't run your mouth unless you can back up your words with actions.

If you are tired of this server, you can do one of two things.

1: Leave. Nobody's forcing you to stay here. There are plenty of other servers out there, so if you don't like what you see here, there are other servers available.

    2. Help AEM grow. Spread AEM's name through word of mouth. Find other people who you would like to play with. Basically, if this server gets a larger playerbase, expect more support for your issues. I personally will not dedicate 6-8+ hours to a small server, especially if it is filled with people who don't appreciate your work.

Read my signature. I mean every single word there.

AEM is still a good server, but there are just many things that need to be done and it's going to take awhile.
