I am NOT going to say AEM is dead, because it isn't! But, we still need more active people. I was here in 2014 and a part of 2015, and this place was extremely busy, especially on Creative. But, since the reset(s) people have left. I'm sure the old members just moved on with their lives. But we need to bring a new "generation" onto AEM, and make it great again, like in 2014 when I was here. Post your questions, suggestions and/or possible solutions down in the replies!
This is helpful to an extent. Also it doesn't have to be helpful, they just have to not be spam posts.
Lol, yeah zBullDog, I got told that by Dixxy. I'm continuing to be more active in the forums without spamming posts like that one game thread. BUT, as I stated above, 2014 was a really good year for AEM and I'd love to see it like that again, with over 100 members nearly 24/7 on here. I've never owned a server, so I don't know how to "advertise" servers properly.
It doesn't, like I said I was told that by Dixxy. I've been becoming more active on different threads on the forum since I was told that.
I want to clarify this staff app post rule for those unaquainted with the whole process. You can spam the forum games section to get your 10 posts, sure. But when we recieve your application your post history is a fundamental part in our judgement. To sum up, 10 by any means is not a number that should be reached for. It's just a value that serves as a bare minimum. If you haven't connected the dots by now, we expect more than just 10 posts. You can argue that not enough players log onto the forums or are active to easily get 10 helpful posts. In order to get past this, you can add to your good total by showing off your creations on AEM, reporting other players, etc. as long as you're posting without the intention to spam and rack up those numbers. In closing, make it meaningful. You should not rush to get 10 posts. Prestige and reputation come with time, effort and dedication, not simply just numbers on a screen.
if they really wanted to help the server gain more popularity they would need advertising from youtubers or anyone. how do you think the biggest servers got to where the are?
This is true, but AEM doesn't have that kind of funding. Pretty sure the biggest YouTubers demand 5 digit figures. Just how it is.
Also, the old youtuber rank didnt work out because so many people with 10 subs applied when the minimum was 1000
not saying the biggest youtubers even smaller youtubers with 10-50k arent that much. 10k would be around $20 per video and you would get a good amount of players from that
Good lord, blast from the past here. Went through my oldest emails and found a 5$ paypal to Alexander from September 2012. Wow. I even remember your name pokeball, and pip xuandu...? Damn... feeling old. Probably no chance there's a backed up save from the map back then right? lol
