    I just think there should be spectating. When I die and a friend is still playing I always want to watch... but I cant.

    I agree with this a /spectate (playername) command would be cool

    That would be cool BUT.

    1. Spectating is for mods to find hackers with anti knockback and other hacking clients.
    2. It could cause lagg ingame with the amount of spectators wanting to join.
    3. it would be used to troll players ingame /confuse or distract them.

    But maybe in future we can implant this feature where you can spectate
    Keeping looking out for updates :)

    This is something we'd definitely like to do in the future, along with a complete overhaul of how SkyWars works behind the scenes to make it easier for us to manage.

    What do you guys think would be the best way to handle being eliminated? I'm thinking this would work: being set as a spectator in the current game immediately, but having a way to return to the lobby if you don't want to watch the rest of it.

    Keep in mind, these are just ideas at this point, and our plans could change.

    I agree so maybe a unbreakable spectator glass room ?

    Spectators would not be visible to the players in the game, and would not be able to interact with them in any way.

    you can block arrows well being a Spectator I've done it on a few servers ;)

    There are ways to prevent spectators from blocking arrows, and spectator mode in 1.8 actually already takes care of that (though we may or may not make use of that).

    If the spectating does release you could do one of the magical gui thingies on a compass or something that has options (Leave, tp to plyaers, etc.)

    I say right after you die, your body flies out as your stuff explodes from the death point. Then you can fly(invis and in survival, so you dont tamper with the game) and spectate :D

    Spectating is a good idea, even maybe you have to be supporter+ to spectate? I don't know.

    Make the spectators invis and dont allow them to break blocks and stuff :p and btw found someone yesterday with no knockback... Aha
