Mob Spawn Rate Issue

    Is there a reason why some islands have normal mob spawn rates while others are very low? My island is very low on mob spawn rates. It took me three days of standing in front of my grinder to get enough bones and spider eyes for the challenges. Can this be fixed? Thanks for the responses in advance. :)

    Single floor mob spawners are hit and miss. Either stack some layers or look into redstone spawner. The spawn rate is nerfed so that the challenge is a little harder. It wont change.

    I'm sure the rates for everything were lowered so the game will last longer.

    Changing your biome, or adding another spawning layer to your mob farm will most likely help.

    RIP mobs. Old Skyblock with 2-3 mobs per minute.

    Yeah I mean if you could get the challenge in 5 minutes it wouldn't be much of a challenge.

    ;D you could always make the challenge more of the items, instead of completely killing the mob spawn rate, but ya know that won't happened :3.

    Simply put if you build only one single mobs spawner with one level youre not going to get good drops. Multilayer spawner platforms or this www.youtube.com/watch?v=37WuZBE6BPU will improve mob dropping performance. The latter takes a good amount of resources and I am sure is easier with fly but the drops are really really good. Only issue I have had with it is when it partial loads the water dispensing gets glitched and I may have to go inside and bucket up water and put back into dispenser.

    The Mob Spawn rate will get lower and lower since big farms. Ok

    Because I don't want the mob spawn rate completely demolished like Skyblock before the reset.

    He did it to make the game last longer. Keep people playing. It's a good tactic.
