I was wondering. Do you receive any monetary payment for being on staff? Not that it matters to me I was just wondering. I am curious about what you do when you are staff. I know you help players and you fix grief but do you do any system work or is it just in game things. I love AEM it is my favorite server to play minecraft on.
If you are hoping for perks for being staff, don't apply. That's not the point of being staff. Staff are staff because they enjoy helping people and/or mediating between two parties in an arguement. They love the server so much that they donate some of their spare time to help enhance the experience for other people.
I don't want to be staff I was simply curious. I wouldn't be staff just for perks that's not the kind of person I am. I also love the AEM server it's the only server I play on faithfully. I love the admins and moderators on AEM I think they are all great people.
Only system and developers get paid. Other than that, the ones without [Sys/DevAdmin] are normal admins who don't get paid but dedicate their time to the server, giving up their own play time. Something some players don't understand as they think it's all fun and games.
I have played on this server for a while now, and I have seen so many people helping eachother giving their own time to Help others which I love seeing, even though people may not like to help they still do which is what this server is all about having fun enjoying what you do and giving a hand to other that need that extra push to being able to grow on this outstanding server. People like Pip, Meg, Pyro, Trouble, Cross, zRinne and a whole line of other admins and mods are the people who also keep this server running and fun to play. Pyro is a killer of a person especially when it comes to mazes, Meg is just an addict to skyblock and everyone else just loves to do what they do best, which is helping others when needed. Ever since I have started playing, we'll the first time I started playing I required assistance and you know who was their to help. everyone that's why I love coming onto this server that is why I keep coming onto this server and why I am addicted to this server so much, even when i can't get onto a computer I jump onto my iPad and jump onto the server to try and assist as much as I can. But this post is not about me it's about how caring and thoughtful everyone especially the staff and the owners on this amazing, outstanding caring server, and I thank everyone for just being you This thread By Meg has given me a whole new direction of thinking when it comes to becoming staff and as you guys being a staff member, so I thank you. What if your under the age limit, but EVERYONE (including the staff members) thinks your helpful and loves you and wants you to become a staff member? Do you get to be staff? Or do you get shrugged aside?
The age requirement is more of a preference, we do accept younger ages, but it's that much harder to prove to us maturity, and responsibility to be a staff member.
A staff member has so many responsibilitys and if you wish to apply for staff, you but be ready to accept these responsibilitys and show the maturity that you need to be staff. I know I am not a staff member so I have no view of how they are but I know that each and every single staff member is selfless caring, mature and always following the rules and more. To become a staff member is like joining a new family you are the person that the kids will respect, look up to and by kids the new and current players, but it's also the patience and selflessness that they have to us. So age matters a little bit it's showing you can fill the part and join that family I hope this helps

Does that mean it will go by that post or by how i am now, because i would like to make a new one but you said not to Thank you (P.S) might wanna tell in OP (original post) that posting only 10 posts actually counts against you especially if they are 1-2 words, because staff do view them :3
If she said to not make a second one then don’t make a second one. But, if you posted one a year ago I don’t think they will mind if you send another one. If they don’t want it then they will just slide over it.
Well we would prefer only ONE staff application, but you can do it once a month, as long as it's not done everyday-week because we actually do view them.

to be honest spamming post can get you staff but only if they are 10 worthwhile posts within a short amount of time which is hard to do but still could be done none the less (I am not saying spam 10 forum posts make them meaningful is what I am saying)
